About the Event

The Vikalp Anveshanam 1.0 is a premier ADR Conclave organized by Bennett University. This event will feature two key competitions: the Client Counselling Competition and the Quiz Competition. These competitions aim to enhance the practical skills of law students, providing them with an opportunity to engage in client consultations, simulate real-life legal scenarios, and tackle critical legal challenges, all while honing their problem-solving abilities.

Format/Structure

  1. Client Counselling Competition
    • Two preliminary rounds online followed by offline quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals.
    • Participants will engage in client consultations, analyzing legal issues and advising clients on possible solutions.
    • A hybrid format: Online for the initial rounds and offline for the final rounds.
  2. Quiz Competition
    • Participants will compete in an online quiz followed by an offline round for the top 10 teams.
    • The quiz will cover contemporary criminal laws and recent legal developments in India.

  • Offline Rounds: Bennett University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India (NCR)
  • Online Rounds: Conducted via an online platform (details to be shared with participants).

Additional Details

  • Eligibility: Open to law students from recognized universities. Teams can comprise two participants, and cross-university teams are not allowed.
  • Dress Code: Formal attire (details provided in the rulebook).
  • Registration Fee:
    • Client Counselling: ₹3500 per team
    • Quiz Competition: ₹800 per team
  • Prizes: Cash rewards and trophies for winners and runners-up in both competitions.
