About the Event

Gathraj & Co. is inviting applications from young and motivated legal professionals for the position of Associate (A0) with immediate joining. This is a full-time opportunity for lawyers with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in chambers or boutique law firms.

Format and Structure

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Selected candidates will work closely with the lead counsel and engage in both litigation and non-litigation work, including research, drafting, advisory, and client management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and preparing case notes, written submissions, and hearing briefs
• Conducting deep legal research on case law, statutory interpretation, and ongoing legal trends
• Creating legal content including blogs, research pieces, and legal reports
• Managing client coordination and communication professionally
• Supporting documentation, filing, and overall administrative responsibilities independently

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B.) from a recognized university
• Minimum 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in a litigation chamber or law firm
• Strong grasp of legal research, procedural and substantive law
• Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills in English
• Fluency in Gujarati is a must
• Must possess a valid driving license and be capable of commuting across Ahmedabad
• Able to handle responsibilities independently, manage deadlines, and contribute as a team player
