Quillspark 2025 is an online creative writing competition organized under ADUJ, in collaboration with Lost Stories (NLUJAA’s annual literary magazine) and Art Collective (a student-led visual arts club). It invites imaginative minds to submit original short stories exploring thought-provoking themes.

Format/Structure

Participants must submit original short stories (700–1200 words) in English, adhering to the following guidelines:

• Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12, Line spacing: 1.5
• No AI-generated content or plagiarism will be accepted
• Submissions must be in .doc or .docx format
• Anonymous submissions (no names in the document)

Themes:

1. The Island Where Time Flowed Backwards
2. 2040: A Day in the Life of the Last Human on Earth
3. The App That Predicted Death: Would You Swipe Right?

Submissions will be judged based on originality, creativity, and storytelling.
