About Xavier Law School and the Competition

Xavier Law School, XIM University, recognized by the Bar Council of India, fosters legal excellence through a rigorous academic and co-curricular framework. Known for its commitment to innovation in legal education, the institution houses a Moot Court Committee that provides practical exposure through meticulously designed competitions.

The Xavier Moot Court Competition 2025 is centered on Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law, hosted in collaboration with ICSI IIP. It aims to challenge students’ legal acumen, advocacy skills, and teamwork while interacting with esteemed judges and industry leaders.

Key Highlights

• Theme: Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law
• Eligibility: Students enrolled in 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programs (Bar Council-recognized institutions).
• Team Composition: 2–3 members per team (2 speakers and 1 researcher or 1 speaker-cum-researcher).

Awards and Prizes

• Winners: INR 50,000 + One free Manupatra Academy course of choice.
• Runner-Up: INR 30,000 + 75% discount on a Manupatra course.
• Second Runner-Up: 50% discount on a Manupatra course.
• Best Memorial: INR 10,000
• Best Researcher and Best Mooter: INR 5,000 each.
