Invitations are extended for participation in the Xth National Law School—Negotiation, Mediation, and Client Counselling Competition hosted by NLSIU. The registration deadline is April 12.

NLSIU NMC Overview

NLS NMC stands as a prominent ADR event in Asia, offering all three segments – Negotiation, Mediation, and Client Counselling.

The Negotiation Segment of NLS NMC serves as a national qualifier for the prestigious International Negotiation Competition. The champion of X NLS NMC 2024 (Negotiation segment) will represent India at INC 2025.

Esteemed professionals, academicians, lawyers, and mediators constitute the judging panel at NLS NMC, providing valuable feedback to participants for skill enhancement in ADR.

Provisional Registration Deadline: April 12, 2024

Announcement of Selected Universities: April 14, 2024

Final Registration and Payment Deadline: April 22, 2024

Preliminary Rounds Dates: May 11-12, 2024 (Online)

Post-break Rounds Dates: July 13, 2024 (Offline – NLSIU Campus)

Registration Process

Universities can provisionally register for the event by April 12, 2024. Provisional registration allows selection for participation based on various criteria such as past performance in ADR competitions and ADR curriculum.

Interested colleges can register for any or all segments: Negotiation, Mediation (Client-Attorney), Mediation (Mediator), and Client Counselling.

Allocation of slots in each segment will depend on the quality of applications and other relevant factors.
