About the Internship

The Legal Internship Program at Kings & Alliance LLP offers an exciting opportunity for 4th and 5th-year law students to immerse themselves in a dynamic legal environment. This 6-week internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in various legal domains, allowing interns to develop their practical skills and gain insight into the operations of a reputable law firm.

Interns will have the unique opportunity to work closely with seasoned legal professionals and engage in real-world legal tasks that mirror the challenges faced in the legal industry today. Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research on a variety of topics, supporting the team in building cases and providing advice to clients.
• Drafting Legal Documents: Assist in the preparation and review of contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.
• Arbitration and Litigation Support: Support attorneys in arbitration and litigation processes, including gathering evidence, preparing for hearings, and analyzing case law.
• Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings, taking notes and providing support as necessary, helping to foster strong client relationships.
• Exposure to Diverse Practice Areas: Gain insights into direct and indirect tax law, international trade law, and dispute resolution, broadening legal knowledge and expertise.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this internship, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution, ideally in the 4th or 5th year.
• A strong interest in corporate law, arbitration, litigation, and related fields, demonstrating a proactive approach to learning.
• Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate legal concepts clearly.
• Prior experience or coursework related to corporate law or litigation is preferred but not mandatory.
