The National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal, established under the Rashtriya Vidhi Sansthan Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, Act No. 41 of 1997, has been at the forefront of legal education and research in India. Starting with Mazdoor Mitra, a lockdown initiative supporting migrant labourers, the Centre has evolved into a leading forum for academic research, policy dialogue, and advocacy in labour and employment law.
About the Opportunity
The Call for Blogs on Labour & Employment Law is being organized by the Labour & Employment Law Blog (LELB) under the Centre for Labour Laws, NLIU Bhopal. The blog invites submissions from academicians, students, and practitioners to contribute insightful, original pieces on contemporary labour and employment law issues.
The initiative is aimed at capturing the evolving dynamics of labour law against the backdrop of technological change, the gig economy, industrial restructuring, and new legislative reforms. By contributing, writers will engage in scholarly discourse on subjects such as gig workers’ rights, workplace discrimination, social security frameworks, and employment classification under new labour codes.
Every submission will undergo peer review to ensure high-quality and impactful scholarship. Selected works will be published on the official Labour & Employment Law Blog (LELB), giving contributors a strong platform to share their perspectives with the academic and professional community.
