About the Organisation
The Centre for Business and Commercial Laws (CBCL) is a “Centre for Excellence” established in 2008 at the National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal. CBCL aims to foster an in-depth understanding of corporate and business laws, promoting a culture of commercial awareness among students. Through initiatives like the NLIU Journal of Business Laws (JBL), CBCL provides a platform for discussions and scholarship in corporate and business laws.
About the Event
The NLIU Journal of Business Laws Vol. VI, 2024, invites submissions on a wide range of topics in business law. The journal is a prestigious platform for legal professionals, academicians, and students to publish research in corporate and commercial law. Contributions include long articles, case comments, legislative reviews, and book reviews.
Event Dates and Submission
- Submission Deadline: January 10, 2025, by 11:59 PM.
- Submission Link: Google Form
- Authors will receive acknowledgments upon submission.
Formatting Guidelines
- Abstract: 250–300 words, highlighting novelty and structure.
- Main Body: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.15 spacing, justified.
- Footnotes: Times New Roman, 10 pt, single spacing, adhering to the Oxford Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities (4th Edition).
- Word Limits:
- Long Articles: 4000–7000 words
- Case Comments: 2000–4000 words
- Legislative Reviews: 2000–4000 words
- Book Reviews: 1000–3000 words
