About Indian Arbitration Law Review (IALR)
The Indian Arbitration Law Review (IALR) is an annual, student-run journal focusing exclusively on arbitration law. It has gained recognition for its scholarly articles, case comments, and reviews published by EBC, and indexed on SCC Online and HeinOnline. The journal promotes informed dialogue on arbitration law with contributions from renowned practitioners and academicians, including Justice A.K. Sikri and Prof. Gary Born.
About the Competition
The IALR Arbitral Award Drafting and Presentation Competition 2025, a flagship event, offers participants a unique opportunity to showcase skills in drafting and presenting arbitral awards. Partnered with the prestigious Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), the competition adheres to internationally recognized SIAC arbitration standards, providing an exceptional platform for practical learning.
The event consists of two phases:
- Phase 1 (Online): Participants submit their arbitral award drafts.
- Phase 2 (Offline): Shortlisted teams present their awards at the NLIU Campus in Bhopal.

- Eligibility: Open to all students enrolled in 3-year or 5-year LLB programs or LLM postgraduate degrees in India and abroad.

- Individual: ₹4,000
- Team: ₹7,000
