About the Position
The position of Legal Associate at NetZero India Foundation provides a unique opportunity for legal professionals to work on high-impact cases and initiatives in the energy and sustainability sectors. Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
- Conduct comprehensive research on environmental and energy laws, including policies and regulations at the national and international levels.
- Provide legal advice and support for ongoing projects and sustainability initiatives.
- Assist in dispute resolution, including arbitration and compliance-related matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address the legal dimensions of energy transition and sustainability projects.
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings, when required.
- Develop and update internal legal frameworks, ensuring compliance with current laws and standards.
Qualifications
- Educational Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution.
- A Master’s degree in Environmental or Energy Laws is preferred.
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of professional legal experience, preferably in sectors such as energy, environment, or corporate law.
- Skills:
- Strong research, drafting, and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with Indian and International laws related to energy, climate, and sustainability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic work environment.
