About the Organisation

The Centre for Business and Commercial Laws (CBCL) is a “Centre for Excellence” established in 2008 at the National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal. CBCL aims to foster an in-depth understanding of corporate and business laws, promoting a culture of commercial awareness among students. Through initiatives like the NLIU Journal of Business Laws (JBL), CBCL provides a platform for discussions and scholarship in corporate and business laws.

• Footnotes: Times New Roman, 10 pt, single spacing, adhering to the Oxford Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities (4th Edition).
• Word Limits:
  • Long Articles: 4000–7000 words
  • Case Comments: 2000–4000 words
  • Legislative Reviews: 2000–4000 words
  • Book Reviews: 1000–3000 words
