About the University/Organization

The Kanoria School of Law for Women (KSLW), established in 2018 under the aegis of Kanoria College, Jaipur, is affiliated with Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University and approved by the Bar Council of India. Dedicated exclusively to legal education for women, KSLW emphasizes human dignity, social justice, and professional ethics while cultivating India’s next generation of women judges, lawyers, leaders, and legislators.


About the Event

Parley 5.0, the fifth edition of the National Debate Competition, aims to foster critical thinking, structured argumentation, and public speaking skills among law students. Scheduled for 13–14 June 2025, the event is conducted online and welcomes students from recognized law institutions across India. Participants will engage with contemporary social and legal issues across three rounds — preliminary, semi-final, and final — each with a compelling theme and a format encouraging both analytical depth and verbal poise.

  • Mode: Online
  • Medium: English
  • Eligibility:
    • Open to students of 3-year and 5-year law programs from BCI-approved institutions
    • Each institution can send up to 3 teams
    • Teams may be intra- or inter-institutional
    • Winners of previous Parley editions are not eligible

Rules Summary:

  • Teams of 2 (One For, One Against the Motion)

  • Final: 5+1 minutes per speaker
  • Dress Code: Indian or Western Formals
  • Attendance in Inaugural and Valedictory Ceremonies is mandatory for certification
