About the Role
The position of Head of Corporate Commercial is a senior leadership role in KARM Legal’s Dubai office. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, the role involves leading and growing the Corporate Commercial practice group. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Corporate Commercial practice group.
- Drive high-value corporate transactions and lead strategic negotiations.
- Provide comprehensive legal advice on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), corporate governance, and commercial matters.
- Build and maintain a portfolio of corporate clients, focusing on technology-driven industries.
- Contribute to the firm’s thought leadership initiatives by publishing articles and participating in conferences.
- Mentor and manage a high-performing legal team, fostering professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with UAE business laws and regulations while navigating complex legal challenges.
Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a focus on Corporate/Commercial Law.
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of legal experience in corporate and commercial law, preferably in technology-driven sectors.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong expertise in UAE business laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to handle technology-related legal matters.
- Exceptional client relationship and business acumen.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is an advantage).
