About the Event

The IV AUAP-JLU International Moot Court Competition is an annual flagship event hosted by the Faculty of Law at JLU. In collaboration with the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP), the competition challenges participants with real-world legal problems, providing an immersive experience in international law and courtroom advocacy.

Participants will engage in multiple rounds of rigorous competition, judged by esteemed professionals, including legal scholars, practitioners, and judges. Attractive prizes, including cash awards and merit certificates, await top performers.

  • Preliminary Rounds
    • Two rounds of oral arguments per team (Petitioner and Respondent roles).
    • Top 8 teams advance to Quarter-Finals.
  • Advanced Rounds
    • Quarter-Finals: Top 8 teams compete.
    • Semi-Finals: Top 4 teams.
    • Finals: Top 2 teams face off to determine the winner.
