About the Position

The Lead – Legal role is pivotal within Guardian Life’s legal and compliance framework, supporting procurement and vendor management processes. This position involves significant interaction with internal teams, including Legal, Risk & Compliance, and Information Security, to ensure the effective negotiation, execution, and management of various contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Management: Lead contract management for technology-related procurements, such as software, hardware, SaaS, and telecom services.
• End-to-End Support: Administer technology contracts, review terms, and facilitate redlining for negotiations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Information Security, and Risk Management, to structure and negotiate contracts.
• Compliance and Process Optimization: Maintain contract compliance, manage renewals, and recommend process improvements.
• Data Monitoring: Regularly track compliance data, identify risks, and provide reports on contract performance.
