About the Internship
The Law/Legal Internship at BeamCrew offers law students the opportunity to gain hands-on legal experience within a professional environment that emphasizes service quality and client satisfaction. This in-office, full-time internship allows interns to work on diverse legal tasks, including research, drafting, court preparation, and client communication.
- Location: Multiple cities across India, including Chennai, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and more
- Mode: Full-Time, In-Office
- Eligibility: Law students with proficiency in MS-Office, MS-Word, and English communication skills (both spoken and written)
Key Responsibilities
- Legal Research and Analysis
- Conduct thorough research and legal analysis to support ongoing projects and case preparations, providing the legal team with well-organized findings.
- Document Drafting and Correspondence
- Assist in drafting various legal documents, including memos, contracts, and correspondence, under the guidance of senior attorneys, ensuring precision and compliance with legal standards.
- Meeting and Court Preparation
- Help prepare for meetings, hearings, and court appearances, reviewing case files and organizing necessary materials for effective presentations and discussions.
- Document Review and Summarization
- Review and summarize legal documents, case files, and contracts, ensuring key points are highlighted and documented for easy reference.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and stakeholders, assisting in the coordination of meetings and the exchange of case-related information.
- File and Database Management
- Maintain and organize legal files and databases, ensuring all documents are accessible, up-to-date, and systematically arranged for quick reference.
- Practical Experience through Court Visits and Legal Events
- Attend meetings, court proceedings, and other legal events, providing exposure to real-world legal practices and hands-on learning opportunities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Skills:
- Proficiency in MS-Office (Word, Excel) for document preparation and database management
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written) for client interaction and document drafting
- Attention to detail and organization skills, with the ability to handle sensitive legal documents
- Education: Current law students or recent graduates interested in gaining experience in legal research, document drafting, and client engagement.
- Characteristics: Detail-oriented, motivated, and enthusiastic about learning within a legal context.
