About the Event

The National Workshop & Capacity Development Program on Artificial Intelligence: Techno-Legal Perspective is being organized by Law Centre-II, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, in association with HP Microworld. This workshop seeks to explore the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and law, focusing on the transformative role AI plays in the Indian judiciary. From case management to decision support and virtual hearings, AI is reshaping the legal landscape in India.

The program will cover various AI tools used in judicial systems, such as SUPACE and SUVAS, and address key ethical considerations in the adoption of AI in legal practices. The workshop aims to create dialogue on how AI can enhance access to justice, address case backlogs, and improve transparency in the judiciary.

Submission Guidelines

Academicians, policymakers, professionals, researchers, and students are invited to submit original research papers, short research essays, or presentations on topics related to the theme of the workshop. The following guidelines must be adhered to:

  • Abstract: Up to 300 words with relevant keywords.
  • Full Paper: 4000-6000 words, including footnotes. Use The Bluebook (20th Edition) citation style.
  • Format: Times New Roman, 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing.

All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process, focusing on the quality of research and validity of the conclusions.
