The selected candidates will play a vital role in providing legal advice, researching tax regulations, and representing clients in tax-related litigation matters.

Job Responsibilities
As a Tax Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for the following:

• Researching tax laws and drafting legal documents such as letters, replies, and submissions.
• Assisting senior associates and partners in preparing tax cases before various tax authorities, including the Assessing Officer (AO), Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) [CIT(A)], Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT), High Court, and Supreme Court.
• Advising and consulting clients on tax-related matters.
• Managing client coordination, preparing appeals, and filing paperwork.
• Handling tax compliance for clients.
• Contributing to business development and supporting the preparation of proposals.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• A Chartered Accountant (CA) or an LL.B with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in tax litigation.
• Strong research and analytical skills, particularly in tax-related laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in legal research using platforms like Taxman.com, CurrentTaxOnline.com, TaxSutra.com, and Manupatra.com.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience: Candidates with direct taxation experience will be prioritized for this position.
