About the Publication
VMLS, in association with the prestigious Taylor & Francis Group, is calling for chapter submissions for a SCOPUS-indexed publication titled “Rivers Unbound: Exploring Social Currents, Legal Tides, and Stories of Flow.” This book aims to explore multi-dimensional issues surrounding rivers, their governance, and the associated social, environmental, and legal complexities. By compiling diverse scholarly perspectives, this publication will address challenges such as water rights, transboundary governance, climate resilience, indigenous rights, and river diplomacy, among other topics. Submission Guidelines
VMLS encourages interested authors to submit original, unpublished chapters that contribute fresh insights into the field of river governance and socio-legal studies. The specific guidelines for submission are as follows:
- Word Count: Each chapter should be approximately 3,500 words.
- Originality: Submissions must be original and unpublished. Chapters should not be submitted elsewhere for publication.
- Similarity Check: The similarity index of each chapter should be less than 10% to ensure originality.
- Peer Review Process: Each chapter will undergo a single-blind peer review to assess originality, clarity, and alignment with the book’s theme.
- Submission Process: Interested authors should send their full chapter submissions to riverconf2024@vmls.edu.in.
- Publisher’s Guidelines: All submissions should adhere to the publisher’s manuscript preparation guidelines, which are available at Manuscript Preparation Guide.
- Article Processing Charge (APC): A nominal APC will be charged for each accepted chapter.
