Submission Guidelines

VMLS encourages interested authors to submit original, unpublished chapters that contribute fresh insights into the field of river governance and socio-legal studies. The specific guidelines for submission are as follows:

• Word Count: Each chapter should be approximately 3,500 words.
• Originality: Submissions must be original and unpublished. Chapters should not be submitted elsewhere for publication.
• Similarity Check: The similarity index of each chapter should be less than 10% to ensure originality.
• Peer Review Process: Each chapter will undergo a single-blind peer review to assess originality, clarity, and alignment with the book’s theme.
• Submission Process: Interested authors should send their full chapter submissions to riverconf2024@vmls.edu.in.
• Publisher’s Guidelines: All submissions should adhere to the publisher’s manuscript preparation guidelines, which are available at Manuscript Preparation Guide.
• Article Processing Charge (APC): A nominal APC will be charged for each accepted chapter.
