As a Functional Lead – Legal Compliance, the role is centered around ensuring the company’s adherence to all regulatory laws and standards, including but not limited to the Factory Act and Labour Act. This is an essential role for managing compliance activities in a dynamic and evolving manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance Management: Oversee compliance activities and ensure adherence to the Factory Act, Labour Act, and other applicable regulations.
• Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
• Audit and Inspections: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance across all operational levels, reporting any deficiencies.
• Regulatory Liaison: Act as a point of contact with regulatory bodies, ensuring timely submission of reports and documentation.
• Monitor Legislative Changes: Stay updated on relevant legal changes and amend internal policies accordingly to maintain legal compliance.
