About the Internship

This 2-month legal internship offers law students a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in legal documentation, compliance, and intellectual property management. As part of the Dheya team, the intern will play a crucial role in supporting various legal functions, including contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property filings. This position is ideal for candidates interested in technology law, intellectual property, data privacy, and contract law.

Key Responsibilities

1. Preparation of Legal Documents:
   • Draft Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) for internal and external stakeholders.
   • Create comprehensive App Privacy Policies to ensure data protection compliance.
   • Develop Data Privacy and Security Policies in alignment with regulatory standards.
   • Draft User Agreements to protect the company’s interests and outline user obligations.
2. Contract Drafting and Management:
   • Draft and manage Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) for employees, vendors, and third-party collaborators.
   • Develop Partner Agreements covering roles, responsibilities, and engagement terms.
   • Prepare Work Orders for educational institutions, ensuring all legal formalities are fulfilled.
3. Intellectual Property Management:
   • Assist with Trademark Registration and intellectual property filings.
   • Draft Copyright Agreements to ensure compliance with copyright laws.
   • Create Disclaimers for products, websites, and applications to limit liabilities.
4. Policy Development:
   • Assist in creating and updating Website Protection Policies to safeguard intellectual property and user data.
