About the Internship
The Law/Legal Internship at Is It Legal, Sid is a hands-on, immersive program designed to provide legal students and recent graduates with practical exposure to diverse aspects of law. The intern will gain direct experience with legal research, drafting, contract preparation, and court filings, while staying informed on recent developments in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and web3 law. This is a full-time, in-office role based across multiple locations in Delhi NCR, including Delhi, South Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad.

- Mode: Full-Time, In-Office
- Working Days: Monday to Friday (with some flexibility based on workload and deadlines)
- Eligibility: Law students currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a recognized law program, with proficiency in MS-Office and strong English communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Interns at Is It Legal, Sid will take on diverse responsibilities that offer a well-rounded experience in legal practice, from traditional legal areas to emerging technology-focused domains:
- Legal Research and Analysis
- Conduct extensive legal research on a range of issues, including national and international laws, regulatory updates, and case precedents.
- Support the legal team with background research on niche topics such as blockchain and cryptocurrency law, technology regulations, and recent rulings.
- Drafting and Document Preparation
- Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, including civil/criminal complaints, petitions, agreements, and notices.
- Work on creating structured legal documents like Terms of Use, Privacy Policies, Cookie Policies, End User License Agreements (EULAs), and investment-related agreements.
- Gain experience in drafting Shareholding Agreements, SAFTs, HR documentation, service agreements, and clickwrap/browse-wrap agreements.
- Court Filings and Case Management
- Assist with filings and submissions in courts, coordinating document preparation and maintaining filing schedules.
- Organize and maintain case files, databases, and records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards and easy retrieval of documents.
- Administrative and Scheduling Support
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, client calls, and internal discussions, including managing internship interviews and conference calls.
- Handle email and phone communication with clients and legal partners, maintaining a professional and confidential approach.
- Continuous Learning and Updates
- Stay informed on the latest trends and developments in domestic and international law, especially in blockchain, crypto, and web3 regulations.
- Participate in firm-led learning sessions to build on skills in research, drafting, client communication, and case handling.
