About the Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR)
Launched in 2022, CADR is a student-led initiative promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) studies, focusing on mechanisms like Arbitration, Negotiation, Mediation, and Conciliation. The Centre aims to foster ADR knowledge through unbiased research and discourse.

About the Journal for Dispute Resolution (JDR)
JDR is MNLU-A’s annual, open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal, created to encourage research and writing on ADR practices in both India and international spheres. Following the success of its first two volumes, the journal is inviting submissions for its third volume.

While the journal accepts submissions on any contemporary ADR topic, suggested sub-themes include:

• Arbitration in Intellectual Property Disputes: Addressing the arbitrability of online infringement disputes.
• Curative Jurisdiction Over Arbitral Awards: Examining its impact on the Indian arbitration framework.
• Public Policy and International Commercial Arbitration
• Generative AI and Arbitration

Submission Categories

• Long Articles (4,000-6,500 words): In-depth analysis on ADR topics with alternative perspectives and suggestions.
• Short Articles (2,500-3,500 words): Insightful discussions on specific ADR issues.
• Case Comments (2,000-3,000 words): Analysis of recent judgments and their influence on ADR law.
• Book Reviews (2,000-3,000 words): Critical evaluations of recent ADR publications.
• Legislative/Policy Comments (2,000-3,000 words): Analysis of recent policy or legislative changes affecting ADR.

Submission Guidelines

• Co-authorship allowed (maximum of two authors).
• Submissions must be in English and accompanied by an abstract (350 words max).
• Formatting: Times New Roman, 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing. Footnotes should conform to Bluebook (20th Edition).
• Plagiarism threshold: 15%, excluding references.
• Submit via Google Form by 11:59 pm, January 15, 2025.
