The Chair on Consumer Law and Practice at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) is a dedicated academic body aimed at promoting awareness and understanding of consumer rights and law. Through various initiatives, it fosters research and advocacy on consumer law to protect and empower consumers.
The Essay Competition on Consumer Law and Policy is organized in honor of National Consumer Day 2024, which falls on December 24. The event aims to engage participants from diverse backgrounds, including students, academics, government officials, and members of consumer organizations, to explore significant issues in consumer law and contribute to the discourse on consumer rights.
Top entries may also be considered for publication in the Chair on Consumer Law’s Newsletter.
The competition is online and open to participants from across India.
