About the Internship
This Legal Internship at UniAcco offers interns hands-on experience in corporate and regulatory compliance, company secretarial work, and contract drafting. Interns will have the chance to engage in practical, high-stakes responsibilities, including preparing official documents, coordinating board meetings, handling legal filings, and assisting with due diligence. The internship is ideal for law students or recent graduates with an interest in corporate law, compliance, and legal documentation in the corporate sector.
Internship Responsibilities:
- Prepare notices, agendas, notes, and minutes for Board, Committee, and Annual General Meetings.
- Draft and prepare notices for Annual and Extraordinary General Meetings, along with board reports for unlisted entities.
- Convene and coordinate various meetings, adhering to Secretarial Standards.
- Maintain statutory books, reports, and registers, and handle filings with RoC/MCA.
- Collaborate with statutory and secretarial auditors and arrange for Secretarial Audit Reports.
- Assist in due diligence from regulatory and investor perspectives.
- Maintain trackers and MIS for legal and secretarial transactions.
- Draft, review, and vet a range of agreements, including partnership, service, technology, trade, marketing, influencer, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Conduct legal research on the Companies Act, FEMA, RBI regulations, UK regulations, and other legal topics as required.
