About the Internship
The Legal Intern at NSRCEL will gain exposure to legal aspects of venture funding, compliance, and document management within a high-impact start-up incubator. This role offers a valuable opportunity for law students and recent graduates interested in venture law and entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and engage with ventures receiving OCL (Open Credit Limit) support, ensuring consistent updates.
- Update venture statuses based on shareholding and OCL lists.
- Assist the legal manager in fund disbursement for NSRCEL-backed ventures, based on screening committee selections.
- Manage and digitize legal documents, making them accessible and organized.
- Assist in updating agreement templates, aligning them with current legal standards.
- Provide support on legal document inquiries and operational legal tasks.
Qualifications
Education: Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor of Law (LLB).
Skills Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of the start-up ecosystem and venture law.
- Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and maturity for interaction with senior leadership.
- Ability to take feedback constructively, multitask, and take ownership of tasks.
