About the Internship

The Legal Intern at Datazip will engage in a multifaceted role, working with both financial compliance and legal functions across US and Indian jurisdictions. This internship offers a comprehensive experience for students or recent graduates interested in legal, financial, and HR compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payroll and Tax Compliance: Oversee payroll processes, manage GST, TDS, and professional taxes, and ensure timely compliance with US and Indian regulations.
• Bookkeeping & Invoicing: Handle bookkeeping, prepare and manage invoices, file TDS, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Legal Support for Contracts: Assist with legal and HR-related functions, drafting contracts for clients and employees.
• Corporate Compliance: Update cap tables, manage transfer pricing agreements, and maintain financial compliance records.
• Banking & Financial Analytics: Facilitate bank onboarding, manage banking details, conduct financial modeling, and oversee ESOPs and cap table activities.

• Proficiency in Labour Laws and Statutory Compliance.
