About the Event:
The 2nd International Seminar on “Legal Pathways to Sustainable Development” aims to create a dynamic platform where students, academicians, practitioners, and policymakers can discuss the role of legal frameworks in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the Indian and international context. This seminar will explore the intersection of law and sustainable development, encouraging participants to present innovative legal strategies for addressing the pressing environmental, economic, and social challenges that sustainable development encompasses.
This seminar covers a range of themes from environmental law and urban development to gender equality and economic growth. Participants will engage in paper presentations, panel discussions, and debates, sharing insights and solutions to promote sustainable practices through legal reform. Selected papers will be published in reputed international journals, providing a valuable publication opportunity for attendees.

- Laws promoting equal pay, anti-discrimination measures, and women’s representation in public and corporate sectors.
- Labor Laws and Economic Growth:
- Legal pathways to promote decent work, economic growth, and fair labor practices.
- Reducing Inequality through Legal Reforms:
- Addressing income disparity, social security, and community rights through progressive laws.
- Urban Development and Sustainable Cities:
- Legal solutions for sustainable city planning, affordable housing, and pollution control in urban areas.
- Climate Change and Environmental Law:

Submission Guidelines:
Participants interested in presenting papers must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Abstract:
- Maximum of 300 words, summarizing the main points and objectives of the proposed paper.
- Include title, keywords, and author information.
- Full Paper:
- Length: 4,000 to 6,000 words (excluding footnotes).
- Formatting:
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font Size: 12 (Main Text), 10 (Footnotes)
- Line Spacing: 1.5 (Main Text), 1.0 (Footnotes)
- Margin: 1 inch on all sides
- Citation Style: Bluebook 21st Edition
- Plagiarism: Papers must have less than 20% similarity
- Publication:
- Selected papers will be published in internationally recognized journals or edited volumes.
- Authorship:
- Up to three authors per paper (each author must register individually).
